Silvered branches, wisps of wood smoke and a frosty window pane this year’s neutrals come in the form of a palette of winter-morning greys. One of our favourite paint suppliers Little Greene has devised a new paint collection, with English Heritage, dedicated to the shade.
If you prefer a richer colour scheme for winter, look out for midnight blue, indigo and ink colours as beautifully demonstrated by Zoffany which oozes depth, texture and drama.
Touches of traditional tartan instantly add warmth and comfort to a room try adding a throw to make the seasonal transition to Winter.
If you want to add a touch of luxury faux fur is an absolute must, it adds strokable texture in an instant that you won’t be able to keep your hands off. Keep it simple for subtle touches of Nordic influence.
The roaring twenties is set to be big this season and we’re seeing lots of metallic and mirrored surfaces hitting the market which give your home a distinctive Gatsby feel.
It’s all about making a statement this season with dramatic chairs and wall covering. Velvet continues to dominate so let your furniture do the talking and be loud, proud and in your face fabulous!
