Hunters Open Art Exhibition goes down a storm

On Tuesday 2nd and Wednesday 3rd July 2014 we at Hunters Interiors hosted an open Art Exhibition at our Uffington showroom near Stamford. The Hunters Interior’s ladies Georgie, Candy and Rachel opened the Hunters Interiors doors to a visually stunning display of artwork by five local artists Catherine Headley, Gillian Durno, Jane Hindmarch, Tricia Stocker and last but not least Belinda Munnings. There was a huge selection of artwork to suit everyone’s taste a variety of vibrant colours, sizes and all pleasing on the eye were displayed all around the barn conversion – the beautiful scenic setting proved perfect for the artwork and there was even artwork hung on the outside barn walls. The event was covered by the Stamford Living magazine and also the Stamford Mercury, and we were thrilled to welcome many local businesses through our doors.

For once we could actually rely on the great British summer as it delivered beautiful warm and sunny weather apart from a brief spell of downpour on Tuesday afternoon where one of Hunters Interior’s very own, Candy Smith was left manning the marquee and protecting the showroom furniture from torrential rain and by what seems a true test of temptation she was stuck just metres away from the Pimms stand.

A fantastic day was had by all, Hunters Interiors welcomed many news faces as well as some long standing clients and it was an excellent way to show off the newly spruced up showroom with new wallpaper from designers such as Zoffany, Cole & Son and Designers Guild. There was a continuous stream of guests who were greeted with tea/coffee, Pimms and a selection of culinary treats baked by local Riverside Cafe. The two day event proved such a roaring success that the Hunters ladies are busy planning their next event which if the art exhibition is anything to go be will be another huge hit.
