Paint Panic??? Our Guide To Paint Perfection

We often get asked what paint finish is best for different surfaces and with different brands using so many names for finishes choosing the right paint can be a bit of a mine field! So we’ve written this guide to help you understand so you get it right, first time. Higher-quality paints contain an antispattering agent that produces fewer spatters than cheaper paints so it’s well worth spending that little bit more for a perfect finish.

Here at Hunters we are suppliers of Sanderson, Zoffany, Little Greene, Paint and Paper Library and Fired Earth paint all of which provide an exceptional coverage and finish. We highly recommend all but the brands most favoured by our decorators tend to be either Zoffany or Little Greene because of the ease for application. It’s important to check the individual suppliers advice as all vary slightly but this is the general rule of thumb.
