From Interior Designers To Fashionista’s For One Day Only

We were thrilled to be approached by Stamford Living recently and asked to model in their November Fashion Edition Special. Now while we acknowledge that there is a strong link between interior design and fashion with quite often the catwalk having some sort of influence over the new collections that end up in our showroom, modelling for a local magazine was quite a different experience to a typical day at our showroom.

The day started with us visiting Flawless Faces in Stamford to have our make up professionally done and then we headed back to the Hunters Interiors showroom to be dressed head to toe in designer clothes, many thanks to Attic of Stamford and Arch Label also based in Stamford. We then had the lovely Sally Stillingfleet from Stamford Living and Elli Dean Photography arrive and the photo shoot commenced.

I won’t lie to begin with it was awkward smiles, nervous laughs and oh my goodness what have we let ourselves in for but once we got into the swing of it we soon started to relax and enjoy ourselves. The showroom was piled high with shoes and clothes and it was a sea of arms, legs and outfit changes but we had such good fun and thoroughly enjoyed a day of being spoilt and pampered.

Here are a few of our favourite pictures that were taken on the day – but don’t worry we are sticking to our day jobs of Interior Designers and normality was soon resumed.
